Best wireless headphones for 2024

Mark Levinson #5909: These are the first headphones from premium audio brand Mark Levinson, and yes, they are really expensive at $999. They’re really good too. They have a sturdy design without feeling heavy on your head (read: they’re solid but not too heavy), and their well-padded and replaceable leather-covered ear cups and headband make them comfortable to wear for long periods of time carry . Read ours Mark Levinson #5909 hands-on.

Soundcore from Anker Space One: The Space One offers good value for money at around $100, offering a strong feature set as well as good sound quality and performance. They don’t quite match the sound of many premium noise-cancelling models, but you don’t feel like you’re giving up so much on sound to save a lot of money. They lack a little of the natural, refined quality you’d expect from a great can set, but the Space One sounds respectable, with decent clarity and bass definition, and competes well with the more expensive Soundcore Space 45.

Technology EAH-A800: The Technics EAH-A800 has a certain old-school vibe – and that’s not just because of the Technics brand, which Panasonic has revived in recent years. Their design is a bit dated, but these headphones are comfortable and can both fold and fold flat. They feature a big, energetic sound with strong bass and good detail, although they do take a day or two to break in.

Status between 3ANC: Status Earbuds aren’t exactly the sleekest or most attractive earbuds you can buy, but if you don’t mind their practical looks and huge stems, you’ll get a set of earbuds with great sound. The Between 3ANC, the company’s first noise-canceling earbuds, also do a good job of attenuating ambient noise, although they don’t match the quality of the Bose QuietComfort 2 earbuds in terms of noise-canceling performance. They performed very well in my voice call test, reducing much of the background noise around me on the streets of New York, while also clearly understanding my voice, or so callers told me.
